Google: A Kinder, Gentler, Less Fat, Successful Newman
|
File this one under "saw that coming." Like any good citizen with a brain full of pop culture debris, when I saw this news I thought of the famous line from Seinfeld's Newman: "When you control the mail, you control information." I was going to use that quote as my headline, so I did a Google search to ensure I had it right, thinking I'd hit upon a Seinfeld tribute site. But no. When I searched, the second result returned was a post on John Battelle's blog, and that post is from last month. WTF? That just seems silly to me, that Battelle has a lock on Newman's legacy like that. Give Newman back, John. Give him back. |
