IBM's Cloud Push Could Be Good for Google

IBM's support for cloud computing should foster greater good will among businesses where IBM is already a known entity. For that reason alone, Google would do well to get further in bed with IBM.

Google Lands New Digs from NASA

The Googleplex is getting bigger thanks to a new 40-year lease the search vendor inked with spacey neighbor NASA Ames Research Center in Mountain View, with whom Google first inked the agreement for this development in 2005.

Google's Newest Data Center Opens to Serve You Search

Today I had the privilege of attending the opening of one of Google's crown jewels: a data center. This one was in Lenoir, N.C., nestled in the rolling hills of Caldwell County. Never heard of it? That's okay. Google likes it that way, nice and secretive.
