Why Gary Reback Sees Google as the New Antitrust Antichrist

Gary Reback is preaching about why he sees Google as the new antitrust antichrist. I trust Google's services to give me what I need, so yes, I'd prefer if its services were easier for me to find than those of Startup X.

Google Looking for Federal Antitrust Lawyer as Privacy Counsel

Google is looking to hire a privacy policy counsel for its Washington D.C. I wonder if this is purely a precautionary measure, or if Google is shoring up its defenses because it is expecting to get hit with something soon. Maybe Google is planning to announce some new behavioral targeting measures that will put it under the microscope even more.

Should Antitrust Laws Be Amended to Consider Google's Use of Free?

Google is the classic victim of its own success, and it doesn't help the perception that it is a monopolist in its quest to horde the world's data by marching laterally across the entire landscape of Internet services. Should antitrust law be modified to consider Google's revolutionary model of free search and Web services in the Digital Age?
