Google Buys A Web Writer

Google's bought Upstartle, which makes Writely, a word processing feature for Web browsers. Financial terms undisclosed. The acquisition seems to bolster the search engines array of office computer desktop software. With a fatter sliver of products to sell businesses, Google can better compete against software king Microsoft Corp. Read more about it here.
