Technorati Developer Jumps to Google
Technorati developer Kevin Marks has jumped ship for Google, Techcrunch reports and Kevin notes in his blog. According to Hitwise, Google blog search recently surpassed Technorati in market share of visits. Kevin is a founding member of the Social Software Alliance. His Wikipedia entry hasn't been updated yet. Somebody get on that. Technorati has long been the blog stat gold standard, but lord is it slow. The site also has problems indexing. If you've ever subscribed to Technorati's alerts, you know it dishes out the same links from the same pages over and over again. |
