Google Docs is now available in French, German, Italian, traditional Chinese and eight other languages. Somebody should tell the Russian teacher who's being sued for using pirated copies of Microsoft software that Google Docs would be a good alternative next time. Hi Steve.
"Somebody should tell the Russian teacher who's being sued for using pirated copies of Microsoft software that Google Docs would be a good alternative next time."
Internet in Russia is too expensive for most of schools. Frankly speaking, less than 25% schools in Moscow (Capital) and in St.Petersburg (Most hi-tech city of Russia) having access to world web. And more than 50% internet users still have only dial-up (modem) access only with connection speed not faster than 33.6
Cost of one month accessing to "Google Office" thru dialup connection will be more than licensed copy of MS Office.
Sorry for my weird english, Steve. I'm russian :)
