Google Spooked by Killer Crane?
According to the Seattle Times, Google is looking for other office options after the building it was supposed to move into was the site of a grisly accident. A construction crane working on Tower 333, a 20-story office building under construction at Northeast Fourth Street and 108th Avenue Northeast in downtown Bellevue, collapsed and fell into an adjacent apartment, killing the occupant. Google has signed a letter of intent to occupy Tower 333, but that letter is not binding and the search giant is reportedly looking at other options. The Google Earth image below shows the tower work site and, presumably, the crane that eventually fell.
