Google Working with Wikipedia to Translate 'Smaller Languages'

Google July 14 said it is working with folks across India, the Middle East and Africa to translate more than 16 million words for Wikipedia into Arabic, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Swahili, Tamil and Telugu.

Google Translate Gets New Look, Text to Speech

Google Translate Nov. 16 got a lot more useful with some new features, including instant translation, read/write accessibility to languages written in some non-Roman characters and scripts, and text to speech.
